Please call your leaders with any questions or concerns. Have fun!!

Pasco Police Station

Yesterday we went to the Pasco Police station. The Cubs learned about the Police uniform and about all the things on a Police Officers "batman belt". Ask your Cub if they remember what the most important thing is for an officer. The officer took us through out the whole station. We met the Chief of Police. We then got to try out the Police car. He turned on the lights and the siren, that was great! Sawyer commented on how much he liked his air freshner and told him that he collected air freshners so the officer gave it to him...he was a very nice Officer! The Cubs were great and we had a very funny time. Thank you Pasco Police cepartment for all you do for our community!

The Charlie Duke Encounter

On Thursday, September 11 the bears went to the CBC and met Charlie Duke. Charlie Duke is an astronaut that flew in the Apollo 16 mission. There was about 100 people there and during his speech he said that he liked that the cubs were there and encouraged them to do all they could to achieve their dreams. He also told them that he was an Eagle Scout. He showed us a movie of his on the moon. The boys loved it. They were great and represented pack 180 with honor. Ask the boys to demonstrate how to get up if fell down on the moon... After he was done speaking, Charlie Duke signed his autograph on pictures that Brother Lenk gave to them.
